The Laminex Group Now Offers Environmentally Certified Products For Every Interior Space

The Laminex Group further cements its position as an industry leader offering ecologically sustainable design solutions with their Greenfirst range Today, the Greenfirst range is so extensive it can satisfy almost every type of interior space.
Group Marketing Manager for The Laminex Group, Robert Frazer said, "When we launched Greenfirst in Australia less than 12 months ago, we made a commitment to expand our range over time and make environmentally preferable products available to all customers and market segments. The range now includes products such as Laminex laminates, Craftwood MDF and Formica Flooring."
Greenfirst was launched to provide specialists including architects, designers and furniture manufacturers with the tools to achieve Green Star ratings without losing design flexibility.
"From bench tops, shelving and cupboards, to flooring, walls and doors, designing and building green environments have never been so easy. We have an aesthetically superior, commercially viable and environmentally certified product for almost any residential or commercial space", Frazer explained.

The Greenfirst range was launched by The Laminex Group in November 2005 and includes products that are independently certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia - an independent, not for profit organisation whose eco-label is scientifically and environmentally recognised.
The Greenfirst range now includes High Pressure Laminates, Fusion Surfaces, Melamine Edging, Decorwood, Lamiwood, Vertiboard, Structural MR and Compact Laminates from the Laminex brand; Freeform High Pressure Laminates, ColorPanel MDF and Formica Flooring from the Formica brand; and Trade Essentials Craftwood MDF, White MDF and Particleboard.
The Laminex Group is committed to supplying environmentally certified products to all of its care markets. A number of Greenfirst products from The Lominex Group have also been certified under the independent environmental labelling programs of New Zealand, Korea and China.
The Laminex Group is also working with key industry bodies and environmental authorities to encourage development in this area. As their Corporate Champion for 06/07, they are actively supporting Initiatives of the Green Building Council of Australia to drive the transition towards an environmentally sustainable property industry.
